I've used INTERLNK a lot, too (in both serial and parallel modes). I
also like Eric Meyer's ZIP.COM; it's tiny, supports both serial and
parallel (4-bit only, AFAIK) transfers, and can be loaded from the
commandline (it works in a Win9x DOS window, too). It's also freeware,
as of version 2.21. Hopefully, it's still at:
