Same here (486DX to DX2 to DX4 to 5x86), but in each case, I simply
refitted the HD, and it worked exactly as it did before (albeit much
faster).  :)

Hard to say, but my most recent motherboards have all used SIS chipsets,
apart from one UMC board, and they all worked perfectly with my original
OS/2 system files (basic Warp Blue, with NO fixpacks).
