True. Still, though, I have the feeling that even though a lot of
fans might drag their non-Trek friends to see the flick, most folks
would have some slight idea of what's going on & accept the "in
medias res" aspect of it. Still, though, I tend to agree -- if I
were hitting it 100% cold, nearly every Trek movie I've ever seen
would be confusing as heck for the first 10 minutes or so.
