Only the one stupid cp filename.txt /dev/hda1 instead of cp filename.txt /mnt/directoryname after mount dev//hda1 /mnt Took about three and a half - four hours to get back most everything but of course had a LOT of addons and updates to add to Win 98 which took MUCH longer :-( WC> Back when playing around with an early Slackware I made no such WC> mistake but I dunnit on Knoppix when overly tired.
