Could be...but it could be a difficult one also. Watts is a
relatively new member of Congress and if he is given the
Vice_presidential nod prematurely, it could be viewed by the public as
an attempt to manipulate the issue of race. He may well be a
qualified candidate in 8-10 years, but for now I'd rather see the
Republican Party operate strictly on the basis of abilities of the
nominees.
