Old ones, and then only some. Most of my socket 7 boards have the type
allowing particular slots to have an IRQ manually assigned. I have yet
to see this on any Athlon or socket 478 boards.
On new boards, APIC (advanced programmable interrupt controller?) is
supposed to provide enough (32 total?) IRQ's for each device to have a
dedicated one.
