subject: SMALL GENERATORS

-> -> 50 ci? Almost into the Crosley territory. That's tiny! I think
-> -> 20hp Kohler is bigger than that! Never saw anything like that up
-> -> here.
->
-> Tiny li'l boogers. Updraft LP / NG carb which is in acutality nothin
-> but a metered leak with a solenoid valve ahead of it.
Heh! Wonder why the heck I've never seen/heard of 'em. I try to look
for odd little engines like that. Guess I'd better look closer. We
do seem to have quite a few of the Wisconsin V4 air cooled engines
around here. Bet I've seen half a dozen in various scrap piles and
generator sets in the past year. I think they run about 120 cubic inch.
-> -> Well, nothing that a separate water pump (hello, Grainger?) and a
-> -> good sized truck radiator wouldn't cure! Surprised they'd put up
-> -> with that. None of my clients (or me) would. Hope it's not the pr
-> -> EBS station! Is that the 600 AM station?
->
-> This is one of those stations where some guys with some money decided
-> they wanted to be in the 'Radio Business.' Once they spent the
-> original money they found they didn't like it near as much as they
-> thought they would. I'm sure you know the drill. It's not EBS.
All too well. Though around here they just sell out to the corporate
big boys. Three of the locals were just absorbed by a company that
now has well over 300 stations. Now that's just criminal to have that
much of the spectrum in one company... If it wasn't for the couple of
very decent clients I have, I wouldn't be doing radio any more.
