ROFL! I don't think you need an OS with source (although that would be
nice (and I have one somewhere, but it's in *yet another* variant of
Pascal (but which is well-defined in the accompanying doco) and is
therefore probably anathema to you) - all you need is one that *works*.
Why don't you try using one of the Win versions, or one of the many
*nix variations?

I suppose you could always write MVS/86.

Maybe that's not even a joke. I also have somewhere something that looks
like TSO on a PC - now that is a joke.
