NB>> We had just a little measurable snow.... and then really warm
NB>> temps... and now are back to more seasonable temps, and some
NB>> rain... it's April after all... ;)
RH> Rachel had some also, my brother had ice (in the Catskills). Deborah
RH> had temps of near 100, ours were upper 70s/low 80s. We had the best of
RH> it all. (G)
I think I'd have to agree with you there... ;) Deborah's were
unthinkable....! Meanwhile, today the high here was in the high 80s...
way too high for this time of year... haven't heard yet if it broke
records, but there was that possibility.... Cold front coming in
tonight, heavy rain and T-storms predicted... and highs in the 60s
tomorrow... ;)
RH>> The oral surgeon that did the job figured it was best to do it
RH>> all at once. Our insurance covered all but his fee which he let
RH>> us budget payback over a year, no interest. It also didn't cover
RH>> the soups and other soft foods I survived on for a while until
RH>> the mouth had healed but, didn't expect that coverage either.
NB>> Nope, food isn't covered (except for that liquid nutritional stuff
NB>> that goes into PEG tubes)....
RH> Stuff that you're just as well off not eating or drinking as is. A
RH> friend gave me a few bottles of Boost a while ago (cleaning out her
RH> fridge). It may give you proper nutrition but the taste is very
RH> forgettable. (G)
Nasty stuff.... It has its purposes, but not something I intend to be
ingesting... ;)
NB>> Our rule of thumb has been to order one dish for the two of us
NB>> (unless we either want leftovers, or know in advance that something
NB>> will be more scant than most entrees), and to otherwise order 2
NB>> entrees for every 3 people... that usually works out pretty evenly,
NB>> and only once in a while do we end up with extras.... :)
RH> Lately when it's just been the 2 of us (most of the time, it is just
RH> that) we've ordered one dish and a couple of egg rolls. Egg rolls are
RH> then eaten with the first go round, there's plenty of entree left for
RH> another meal. Hardest part is deciding what to share. (G)
You choose one time, he chooses the next....? ;)
