VN :> Only until you guys move out here. Aerospace industry
VN :>is BIG here, a long row of machine shops next to the
VN :>airport, about a five mile long row!
Funny. We do almost no work for aerospace..I think that's what saved us in
the downturn in the early 90's. People who worked in the industry then got
downsized, laid off, etc. in droves. We had machinists showing up at our
door daily looking for work.
VN :> Turnouts? Are those blankets? How thick are they?
VN :>Dub has (1.) a cooling sheet, (2.) a light "blanket" - kind
VN :>of a cotton thing, (3.) a duck (canvas) blanket, and (4.)
VN :>an expensive thick quilted blanket that Dean bought him for
VN :>Christmas last year. Are they like one of the above?
All of the above...the turnouts are waterproof. Also, coolers, sweat sheets,
fly scrims...I probably have a small fortune in horse clothing in my barn
).
VN :> Lori's brother, Ralph, whose opinion I respect a lot,
VN :>says that horses do a lot better in the cold than they do
VN :>in the heat.
Well that's comforting...after last winter when she was covered with snow
from Nov. to April.....
VN :> I think so...flowers in bloom all over. It was 75
VN :>degrees today...slightly cloudy, enough drizzling in the
VN :>a.m. to annoy me into washing the car tonight! ;)
Is that drizzling as in wet stuff coming from the sky? I thought that never
happened in Phoenix! You lie!!!
