WRC, 980 AM, of Silver Spring, Maryland is host to a show called "America
Under Siege" and is hosted by none other than Henry Hudson. Henry Hudson was
head of the Marshal Service during the Ruby Ridge episode.
I listened to the show for the first time today. Hudson was not present, and
a substitute hosted the show. The guest was a National Parks officer who
does not recommend "the public" carry firearms in urban areas like the
metropolitan DC area including Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the
District. He also stated that carrying on federal parks is against federal
regulations and is "not recommended."
Many callers disagreed.
This show smells of Gestapo. If ever there was an anti-gun law enforcement
program this is it. They talked about and advertisements included the "more
guns on the street" argument and "one accident too many." You could tell, if
you read between the lines, that law enforcement wants YOU disarmed so their
jobs are made easier.
The show is on 5-6 on Sundays. If you live in the area, and even if you
don't, please call WRC and complain or voice your opposition. The
general/talk radio number is 301-587-4900. Remember "of the people for the
people" not *on the people by the police.*
