subject: 8-bit LPT cable

-> I got "PC Relocator" last week that promises Win 9x,ME,NT,2000 or
-> XP. Any ideas for also transferring my SuSE 9.0 linux partition that
-> shares my Win 98se on the same 40 gHz HD when I install my new 80 gHz
-> hard drive some rainy day ???

On my Ver 3.0 PC Locator it specificly "Does not Transfer Operating
Systems."
To me that means you might not be able to Boot to LINUX.
most likely becasue I suspect it would not transfer the Dual Boot
capability either.

But for upgrading a Windows system Conmputer it works Great. I have
done it on three different machines. Somewhat slow fro Larger Hard
Drives though. For that LapLink parallel cable we have been taling about
the Speed is listed at 2 to 5 HOURS per Gig!!! :-)
Now IF the computers are set up for Networking it drops to 15 to 20
Minutes per gig over the Cat-5 cable.
