Hi  Zoe,

Welcome back from Australia!

I don't have any SMP equipment here yet, but I know people on these 
lists who have no trouble with AMD SMP (AM2) who are successfully 
running eCS, and I'm sure that you'll get a lot of positive responses 
from iNTEL users.

I'm sure that you could get assistance in installing LSS on that 
thinkpad - have you yet visited http://news.ecomstation.com - there is a 
fair bit of traffic there, and people are friendly.
