I don't think there is going to be any problem with it. There are at least
half a dozen of XTree clones (freeware & shareware) out there! There
are also quite a few NC (Norton Commander) clones. Symantec doesn't
seem to care too much about them. Back in the Dos days, someone once
said, NC is for programmers and Xtree is for the rest. That showed how
popular were the two file managers.
Talking about Xtree/XTgold and NC, I wonder how most TSE users
start up TSE. For me, I set TSE as an icon on WCMD (Windows
Commander, an NC clone). From the WCMD panel, I can use quick
search to find a file quickly and then click on the TSE icon. The file
is loaded into TSE directly irrespective of its extension - no mucking
around with the file association or "send to". With such a file manager,
there is no need to have an inbuilt TSE file manager.
