From the textfile that I got with it...
===== snip =====
HPFS works under NT 4.0
Copy the NT 3.51 pinball.sys to %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\drivers
Start the Registry Editor and insert the following key:
under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
Add the key "Pinball"
Then highlight the Pinball key and add the following values, case is
important:
                 ErrorControl: REG_DWORD: 0x1
                 Group: REG_SZ: Boot file system
                 Start: REG_DWORD: 0x1
                 Type: REG_DWORD: 0x2
Reboot the machine.
I've had one person experience blue screen crashes with this when
running ftp and IIS web stuff. Trying to ftp to an HPFS drive seems
to cause random crashes.
I've also been told that it can cause hangs upon shutdown or
bluescreens when creating a new file. As you add service packs
things like this can happen so be on the lookout if you use this.
