Please let us know what you find out. I've found no linux support for the CX6400. As for Tame, interestingly I checked the Epson site. They are clearing out printers and scanners supported by os2. Of real interest to me are the stylus photo 820 for $59 and the perfection 1660 photo scanner for $65. Both are refurbished. website: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/index.jsp It would be great to get it all working on a cx5400 or cx6400, but printing itself would be fine, even if I had to get scans using (ugh) windows. Actually if I don't mind losing the desk real estate, the printer and scanner above are cheaper than the cx's. The cx6400 though can print from flashcards and copy without the computer on. Actually it darn near doesn't need a computer. Oh, it doesn't fax. Needs a computer for that :-) Franklin > "The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the > growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than > their democratic State itself.
