This isn't a website, but merely an e-mail address; the actual
address is "rush@eibnet.com" (note ".com" is the top-level
domain type). Rush needed an address on a system that could
handle more e-mail than CompuServe's software allows allows, so
he registered the "eibnet.com" domain and aranged with an ISP
to provide server space for it. As I understand it, the
"rush@eibnet.com" address can accept thousands of e-mail
messages before there's any trouble.
I believe he also still has his CompuServe mailbox
("70277.2502@compuserve.com" or the alias "rush@compuserve.com");
and even occasionally responds to Forum messages in the Rush H.
Limbaugh room of the Issues Forum on that system. But since
CompuServe's software limits all mailboxes to a maximum capacity
of 100 messages (any beyond that will bounce until the mailbox
is emptied), he doesn't encourage its use that much.
Anyone know if Marta or any of Rush's staff also have addresses
at "eibnet.com"?
