The local ISP raves on about Lightspeeds, claims that the vast bulk
of the ISPs use that because its so reliable as an indial modem.

There certainly havent been any of the indials go down too drastically
but then its only been up for a month or so. There have been a couple
of occasions on which a modem has had to be reset from within the net
but presumably a Bink style banging on the modem would do that auto.

Cant say I have ever had anything much to do with them.

Quite a decent price at $250 class money. They
have been offering them to their customers at that.
