Hello Paul > I have deselected you from AUST_TRADING in order to stop have my > messages flood Teddy's system. BFN. Paul. Further to my previous messages, I have checked the message base and discovered the following..... AUST_TRADING [9680] Wed 12 Jun 96 23:28 By: Andrew Davies To: All Re: ULTRASOUND St: Does anyone know somone selling a Gravis Ultra sound? As the path would denote, this message arrived on my board via the Tasmanian path of 670/210 218 310 213 Someone in the above list has created the loop that has caused the duplicate messages being sent to you. I will disconnect Denise 670/213 and send her a netmail advising her of this. I will also including your messages, and this message, so as she can see for herself that there is a loop. If and when she can advise me that the loop is broken, and if she still wishes to get AUST_TRADING from me, then I will reconnect her feed, but not before. As the above is only one of a number of messages containing the TAS path, it seems that the loop was not of my making. (whew!!). My disconnecting of Denise from that echo should solve the duplicates problem. I would appreciate a reconnection to AUST_TRADING at the earliest possible convenience, (I will send an AREAFIX with this packet) but I will still manually check outgoing packets to you to ensure that no duplicate problems exist. If the above is not to your satisfaction, then please do not hesitate to contact me.
