Hi guys,
Many thanks to both Sammy and Chris Anton for the help with setting the
Volume label.
The dll call will do nicely.
The File Manager macro I'm writing is an almost _exact_ replica of
Xtgold 3.0 for DOS.
Put it this way, you can't tell the difference, except TseGold (as I
call it) will handle LFN's and doesn't run out of memory with big hard
drives. I haven't bothered with mouse support - I never used it in
Xtgold anyway.
Because it so closely emulates XTGOLD I think I'd be risking breach of
copyright if I uploaded it.
Mind you, TSE comes with UI emulations of WordPerfect and Brief so
maybe it would be OK.
Also, its by no means complete, the interface is finished but the
functionality still needs filling in.
You know, I've only recently converted from TSE 2.5 to 2.8. I think it
was the Syntax Highlighting and the LFN support that finally won me
over. Good job guys.
By the way, is there an updated TSE Help file? I'm using quite a few
undocumented functions these days.
eg. GetVolumeInfo(), the INI interface functions etc.
I know Chris Anton put together an excellent Help system macro that
expanded on these - but its still not complete.
Anyway, thanks again for your help,
Ross
