Oh, I've still got a couple of tapes floating around, I'd like to see what's on them 8^) BO>> After 5 years of Amiga and PC, I still say games were more fun on the BO>> 64, BR> Games are better on Amiga and PC but they are so dear or illegal. C64 BR> games don't compare these days, sorry but its true. Some genres like Adventures/RPG's undoubtedly the Amiga/PC/etc have better games. But I don't think shoot-em-ups and platform games have advanced much, if anything other than in graphic quality. There has been only *ONE* game on the Amiga in the last five years that has grabbed me as much as when I first got the likes of Paradroid, Uridium and Impossible Mission. That game? The all-time greatest sports sim on any platform - SpeedBall II 8^) Don't get me wrong though, I'm getting a beefy PC at some time in the future for real computing and certain games, I just wanna get a c64 for a spot of nostalgia. I am not going to pay much for one 8^) Byeeeee. --- Spot 1.2d Unregistered* Origin: "... me gently with a chainsaw " (3:637/101.1) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/54 623/630 632/0 304 348 530 998 999 1000 633/371 635/503 SEEN-BY: 636/100 637/101 103 638/100 640/316 711/807 808 809 929 934 942 SEEN-BY: 712/623 713/888 714/906 @PATH: 637/101 103 632/998 635/503 50/99 54/54 711/808 809 934 |
