A matter of semantics, perhaps. Both my Sportsters came with a slim volume
that is intended primarily as a guide during installation and setup. What I
consider the "real" manual is the rather extensive text-file mentioned in
the printed volume and available from USR's BBS.
Of course, I suppose it's possible that USR ships Sportsters in "with
manual" and "without manual" packages...but all I've ever seen have been
"without manual" versions similar to those I've bought.
