Today I tried Abit AI7
http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/techspec.php?categories=1&model=147

This one enters motherboard BIOS before the SCSI messages display.

The AI7 isn't as sophisticated. It's Phoenix-Award BIOS is pretty much
other plain Award BIOS'es. It differs from the Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000 Pro
in that since the SCSI bus doesn't get scanned first, when going into
the HD drive priority submenu, all that shows is the identified IDE HD0
and "bootable PCI add-in cards". Also unlike the Gibabyte, the Abit will
not automatically boot the SCSI CDROM unless CDROM has BIOS priority
over HD.
