Because you PAY for support out front.

Knoppix OTOH really needs no support but the few commands
to setup a secure user account and can be downloaded FREE
as can many other releases and versions on worldwide
mirror sites.

Or you can buy a bootable Knoppix CD at a very reasonable price.
