I dunno about that...  as long as it works on *my* machine what would I
care whether it works on others or not ?  ;-)

B*llsh*t..   An internal modem is no different than an external modem.
The only difference being that it has no case, no power supply, and the
connections are different.  It isn't too hard to adapt an interm modem
for external use, but it is rarely done simply because there is such
little need for it.
