Greetings All!
Well this is a fine how do you do!
I spot that StarGunner has come out (And also the rally game sometime ago but
I haven't been paying much attention to this echo lately) and try to get it
from the two locations I'm fairly sure it'll be at since I can't find them
anywhere else, namely the two in the subject line.
Attempts to freq #1STAR.ZIP from AOF times out and seems to crash it for a
while. Attempting to logon to get it gives me a message that I have a closed
system.
Software Creations can't find it for FREQ either, and the list given of
FREQ'able files doesn't have it in either. Attempts to logon to try and get
it have failed every time, as when I press Esc (Or tab) twice, carrier is
dropped.
So is there somewhere in the UK that can offer me these files, as I've
already spent a couple of quid FAILING to get the files. If I had spent a few
quid actually getting the files I wouldnt've minded. :-)
"Why don't you get it off the web" you say. Well SG is a 5 Meg file and the
only decent connection *I* have to the web is via the tech, and with their
connection (Through Demon) I am not going to sit there for about 2 hours
waiting for it to arrive! I'd rather do it direct and as fast as possible,
e.g. about 50 mins at 14.4k or 7 and a half if I do it at a mates.
So, any ideas?
See ya,
