Run RMVIEW /IRQ in both of the two configurations you describe. I suspect you
might have the old old problem of two devices trying to use the same IRQ -
your Network Interface card and one of your USB ports. If this is the case and
you want to switch from parrallel port attached printer to USB attached,
disable the LPT port in the CMOS, hence freeing up IRQ 7 and see if all work
together again - I think you've run out of free IRQs, hence you need to
disable something.
