Don't ever bid until the last 1.5 minutes, depending on your
connection speed, otherwise you will pay more than you should.  The
deal is that if the bid is $50, and you are willing to pay $100, in
the last moments go ahead and bid $100, you will only pay as much
as the next minimum bump up, which could be as low as $55.  It's a
bit counter-intuitive but that is the way it works.
