123a23bd5807 tech Hello Phil - PM> === I'm a DOS person at heart. Trouble is, that doesn't get PM> you very far, particularly on the internet. So you have PM> Windows forced on you. Irritating. It is possible to use DOS on the Internet, it's just not automated installs with simple questions to answer then go online (as Windows installs are). Some years ago when I first wanted to use DOS to go online on the internet it was very time consuming. Bits and pieces of information scattered here and there with no one willing to admit some if the software just wasn't very good at all. Links to all of the software required is located at my website now but it is still necessary to do some reading of text files and configurations before it will all come together. PM> === On the other hand, I may soon be hating Linux. Using Linux is much like learning DOS over again. A bit confusing at times, everything is not logical, filenames are a bit cryptic, and everything does not always work as advertised on all hardware. > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
