Hi Reece,

G'day Rod,
I know that this you would prefer mentioned in the questionair

Just an idea
Reece.
p.s. Is there a newer version than this?

I guess that Glenn had to forward it on for you for some reason.
It took me a while before I realised it was from you - I intially
thought that Glenn had somehow got hold of a reg'd copy of QWKRR.

Anyway...

Any form of marking from the browse headers isn't currently possible.
The code itself would be rather easy to implement, but it is the USER
side of it that is a problem. How would I go about determining which of
the messages in any "page" should be marked ?

I could follow the lines of QWKie, but this means a lot more code for
such small benefits.

GT> able to print Marked messages that have
GT> been marked as I've read them
GT> would be OK (probably better than printing sight unseen) May be
GT> something like a capital P to indicate marked for printout and the
GT> print command could act off those files first. Just an idea

A global mark/print does have merit. To do it properly would probably
mean another flag (more memory) to mark for printing, plus the command
to actually start the printing. I'd also need to unmark such messages
after being printed. Like I say though, this does have some merit, but
at a cost. The cost being less memory availably for other things, and I
am already pushing the current memory to its limits. :-(

I do offer an alternative suggestion though.. Use the rab option on
the messages you want to print. This will save the messages to disk in
petascii format, appending one message onto the next.
At the end of the session you can print out the entire file using one
of the many methods for doing so.

GT> p.s. Is there a newer version than this?

Yes. V4.30 was released about a week ago.

Cheers
Rod
