Hi David,
That seems a difficult way to do things. In Object Desktop, I just drag
any icon from any virtual desktop to any other. For example if I have
IWB open in Mail and double-click a URL, the webpage opens in the same
desktop, overlaying the Mail. I just drag the Browser icon up or down to
a vacant desktop and the Mail resurfaces. Clicking in the browser
desktop I am in the Browser, etc. I could of course also set it up so
that the Browser always opens on a particular desktop. I usually only
have about 4-5 virtual desktops, that way the titlebar text of the icons
is completely legible. By clicking on a visible part of an iconised
app/folder on another desktop, that becomes the active desktop, with
that app/folder topmost in the Z-order.
