Hello Phil!

PC> How do I get LINK386 to find the .lib files it needs?
PC> Can this be included in the makefile or set as an environment
 PC> variable?

Easiest is to set the environment variable, SET LIB=\emx\lib

 PC> I installed emx 0.8h and GCC2. I downloaded ot-100.zip (comm
PC> program with source) which came with a makefile.emx and says it
PC> was written with emx 0.8g. The makefile calls LINK386, which
 PC> gives the error that it can't find gcc.lib, os2.lib, and c.lib.

See above for the solution. The makefile shouldn't really call link386
directly, instead it should call GCC, which will work out the correct
command line and pass it to link386, creating a response file if the
command exceeds 1024 characters.

PC> All three .lib files are under the GCC2 directory, not the emx
 PC> directory.

Are you using GCC/2 or EMX? If you are using EMX, you should link with
the EMX librarys, not the GCC/2 ones.
