About 2 years ago I purchased a new Leoptics 19" monitor near flat short neck (with Panasonic CRT). It had the specs that fit my rolltop desk and was no deeper than the 14". It ran really hot! About 13 months it died, but it had such a fantastic display, I had it repaired. (no warrenty because the company that made it disappeared.) Put a fan in the back of the desk to try to keep it cool, but it died again (snapping and throwing sparks). Threw it away and back to the 14". I would like to get another 19" monitor, but it has to have a short neck and not stand too high. Otherwise if the price comes down, the 17" LCD's look pretty tempting and generally run cool. Just don't want another furnace in my desk! Know of any good short 19" CRT monitors out there? Franklin __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Get better spam protection with Yahoo!
