i'd suspect that you should check your TCP/IP SERVICES file and see what,
if any, socket is listed in there as being the clamd socket... if it isn't
listed, put in an entry for it and reboot...

it is a psuedo directory much like the /pipe/ directory for using pipes
across the network...
