If someone is using either Windows ME or Windows XP, the operating system
will NOT allow you to run ANY program, TSR or otherwise, from autoexec.bat.
The only thing allowed in there is the normal SET xxx commands. You can
always try to run TSRs from the LORD start.bat file. I use that technique
so that LORD runs with the PC Magazine ANSI.COM utility activated.
Better not to depend on those TSR programs since the newer operating
systems from Microsoft are now disallowing all program execution from
autoexec.bat files. I have no knowledge of Windows 2000, but it may be the
same way as Win-ME, since they were released in the same year. Donald.

Side-Note: Was contacted by email by someone named "Perry", no
last name given, using fl{at}aol.com email address. Wanted info on ANGEL
doorkit. Tried to respond and was told the email account is dead, by
America Online. So if one of you is the Perry guy, you're going to have to
get the email situation fixed before anyone is able to contact you.
See http://www.jimmyrose.com/atlantis/angel.htm for details on ANGEL, and
turn graphics off beforehand if using slow dial-up connection. It is VERY
slow, due to graphics usage. Donald.
