GM> So is this 30MB swapfile for C++ located in \tmp ? No. The TMP dir (dedfined by the TMP environment variable) is used to create smallish transitional files. The swap space defined on the box is for swapper.dat. GM> The reason I ask is because I have a separate 23MB partition GM> set aside for the OS/2 swapfile. If C Set++ uses the system That will probably be big enough, assuming you have 16mb of ram, or you are using C instead of C++. If you are not happy about this, try Watcom; it has its roots in dos and therefore has a much smaller memory footprint. --- Maximus/2 2.01* Origin: Sol 3/Toronto (905)858-8488 (1:259/414) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 54/54 620/243 624/50 632/348 640/820 690/660 711/409 410 413 SEEN-BY: 711/430 807 808 809 934 942 949 712/353 623 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 259/414 400 99 98 3615/50 229/2 12/2442 711/409 54/54 711/808 809 934 |
