Well, I have.  Tractors.  DEAD tractors.  HARD to fix tractors.  But my
main objection to magnetos is in airplanes where they're REQUIRED.
PERIOD!  No argument!  (And I hate to tell you but they're by and large
the sorriest magnetos in the WORLD in airplanes.)
They ARE very reliable even though they're JUNK, but a really good solid
state ignition system (Where you have a battery source) is JUST as
reliable and much easier for normal human beings to understand and work
on.
