Matt, what you say is very well and true, but has nothing to do with
anything. Reporters and news media are not interested in relating
events, they are interested in generating ratings and selling newspapers:
more then their competitors. They try to outdo their competitors by
hyping facts, mispresenting them to cause more of a stir in the public,
etc.
I'm tried to inform various reporters/news agencies of errors they have
made, not even in the 'touchy' area of firearms. I got a response
similar to someone trying to sell used toilet paper at inflated prices.
And as long as the new media is dominated by liberal twits, you are going
to have a hard time getting a fair shake.
