Duly noted, but I won't be connected until the new machine gets assembled
and I've got an ISP. Prob. a month, anyway.
TE> Send me a message and we can go from there.
Once the house deal closes, would it accomplish anything to send you a
Netmail (i.e. can we operate before I get the new computer up?)?
And here's an idea which may or may not have any merit, given that
you're in Calif. (yes?) and I'm in Meeshigan (fairly certain of this part)
--Everybody's been raving about the Pro Jr. That many voices in a place
like this have me thinking seriously about one of those. But Scott the
Amp Guy says that he's worked on a bunch of newer Fenders which had
problems he attributes to the phenolic board. Lots of vibration, enough
to break cap legs or cause other "disconnects" [and I was thinking of the
Inop. stories here about Pro Jr.'s or Blues Jr.'s]. It was a short
discussion, and he & I will prob. discuss it some more.
Okay, back to the idea. If I get past these misgivings about the PCB,
would there be a possibility of my trading the Pro Reverb + cash for a
Pro Jr. + an ASAT? Meaning do you deal in used equipment? I've heard
what seems like several people here mention guitars they got from Tom, but
they all could've been new.
How I'd get this 60-lb combo to CA is another matter..
