I am running a 486DX2-80mHz machine w/ 16 megs RAM and a 2 meg Cirrus
Logic 5429 video card.  SDD53 is also loaded.
My question:  Why does Stargunner run so smoothly (it screams, in fact)
on this machine while Death Rally is as slow as molasses in January?
My AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files are real short -- only my CD-ROM
drivers, SDD53 and Soundblaster drivers are loaded.  While my drives are
virus free according to SCN-252 with DAT-9611, vshield is REMmed out.
Any ideas, anyone?
