RH>> We have had a few cooler (actually, normal) days but Tuesday
RH>> had a high of 82.
NB>> Ours hasn't been quite that variable.... but it has been a bit
NB>> up and down still... Now it looks like we'll have a somewhat
NB>> steady climb into proper spring.... March does seem to be going
NB>> out like a lamb, after coming in like a lion.... :)
RH> We've been on a yo-yo but hopefully now all the major cold is behind
RH> us. Pollen, especially pine, is out in full force.
One can but hope... ;) Here, forecast is calling for some snow mixed in
with the rain promised for Friday night and into Saturday.... but temps
only into the 30s for lows, at least....
RH>> A lot of farmers have lost significant crops because we had a
RH>> couple of nights below freezing this week. Strawberries,
RH>> blueberries and peaches have been hit hard.
NB>> I haven't heard much about that locally... perhaps our false
NB>> spring didn't fool too many of the trees.....
RH> And too, your growing season is behind ours by a few weeks; that makes
RH> a big difference.
Quite true... :)
RH>> Good thing that your dental work went well--you were able to enjoy the
RH>> congee and extras. As I recall, it took me some days before I felt
RH>> like eating much, even soft things. Harder foods took even longer.
NB>> But then your teeth were pulled... my one tooth only got a root
NB>> canal...... ;)
RH> They were actually cut out as they were all below the gum line. There
RH> was no way they were going to come thru as they were all in sideways.
RH> Basic soup (and things like that) were the easiest to eat for a while.
Ouch.... I guess so...!
RH>>> instead. It was good. (G)
NB>>> Yup, sometimes one goes with the favorite, sometimes one tries
NB>>> something new on the menu... or a less-often picked choice....
NB>>> One can get quite the long list of favorites that way, though...
NB>>> especially at favorite places... ;)
RH>> The hard part of that is deciding which favorite to have. (G)
NB>> Exactly... :)
RH> And one of each is detrimental not only to the wallet, but also the
RH> waistline.
Unless you are sharing it with a large group, and then each gets just a
taste of each... ;) Probably couldn't eat them all by yourselves in
one sitting after all... ;)
ttyl neb
... Progress is made on alternate Fridays.
