DD>Is this the case that happened about a year ago that a bird dealer left
he
DD>country and left no one attending the birds? I beleive it happened
somewhere in
almost two years ago. the dealer didn't leave, they were killed, both
the aunt and Moses along with others. Over four hundred Macaws died
through that ordeal, but it didn't have to end up that way as the authorities
took over ten days to go to the house after a complaint from the feed store
, Howard Voren, the vet and others. ?THey did not have the wildlife permit,
permits of any as the wild life could of gone right in after the first
complaint. ANimal Control took the birds and sold them at auction for the
big bucks. THis can happen to any of us if we don't have arrangements
that meet the law. THe mother and relatives tried to get the birds but
did not even after going to court. THE judge gavet he birds to the animal
control for auction like a piece of furniture.
I have two of these creature that survived, the two Hahns Macaws. I had
four but found great homes for Tinkerbelle, Joan and Speedy (he was my
baby) I have the two others and they'll stay with me till my death. All
the others will come back to me if they ever need me.
Thirteen of the Hahns survived, one that is with Tinkerbelle, is without
a beak but the two of them are doing great together.
