I had a similar problem... what I had to do was to delete telix from my 
system and then re-load it... this was with the shareware version but since 
then I now have a registered version of 1.15d from DeltaCom.

If you have the registered version then it's just a matter of re-loading it 
and if not then you have to get another shareware version.  I was told once 
you have telix loaded then you can't just get rid of it but I had no problems 
re-loading it.  It's a pain of course because it's time consuming but you may 
have to resort to this.  Keep a seperate file of your phone directory so you 
have the numbers when you need them.
