There are two methods.  One is to get a patch from the hobbes.nmsu.edu

on Internet.  The other is to dump E.EXE (aka system editor) and use EPM.

Tread lightly in this area or you may become stepped on. :-)
EAs are there for a reason.  Some applications, including the WPS, don't work
very well if their EAs are removed.
However, you can strip EAs from files that you know have no need for them 
ith
this .cmd script:
