DS> > DB} I haven't seen ribbon earrings that I can recall..Is there
DS>Diane, first, sorry to hear that your stuck being less mobile. It
DS>certainly is most frustrating!!!!
DS>I saw some earrings at a craft show last year that I thought were really
DS>cool, but not something that I would make.
DS>The lady had taken used postage stamps, rolled them loosely, then coated
DS>them with a clear coating like Elmers or decoupage coating. After they
ere
DS>dry she attatched them to the earring backing...she had different kinds,
DS>but they looked very nice on the hook shape that you just slide through
DS>pierced ears. Then they dangled.
DB} My husband (since he was 10 or so) has collected and sold stamps.
He has **A LOT** that I could use for this project...Is there a way
that you could send me a sample of them or a picture so that I
could use it as a model? I PROMISE to send it back to you if you
happen to send me an earring to view. I wouldn't make them to sell
as that is (her) project but just as gifts to some of my special
friends. I like to give things that people can't just go out and
purchase. If you choose to send me a sample do you still have my
snail mail??
DS>She called them "Air Rings". Cute :-)
DS>Thought I'd mention it if you like to make jewerly.
