I've been playing....
/P has precidence:
if you have /P in config.sys the name of the autoexec file must follow it
(otherwise c:\autoecec.bat will be loaded)
if you don't have /p then the settings in 4dos.ini will be used.
This works fine here, in config.sys
SHELL=C:\4DOS\4DOS.COM C:\4DOS\ /Pc:\4dosexec.btm
and so does this, in config.sys
SHELL=C:\4DOS\4DOS.COM C:\4DOS\
and in 4dos.ini
autoexecpath=c:\4dosexec.btm
make sure you only have 1 copy of 4dos.ini, or that you are editing the right
one :)
