Hi Simon,

Last time I used anything similar [I guess] to the ATT Global Network 
Client Dialer would have been when my Internet access was through IBM 
Global Services in the mid-1990s at which time here in Australia I had 
to make a long-distance call to connect, so very expensive, as they were 
what became ATT Global, and the dialler presumably would be an updated 
version of the IBM dialler.

There should be some sort of settings page, on which it should have the 
initialisation string(s) used.  Have you looked there?
