Nope, not if its actually a wart in your current modem,
or the mode you are using it in, like enabling fax calls.

That sentence combined with the previous one is just a massive brain fart.

Its quite likely some residual wart in your modem that also produced
the same effect with me on some calls. Havent seen any lately tho.
I dont recall they ever happened when your modem didnt have incoming
fax calls enabled tho, assuming its still setup like that.
