As opposed to being raised by the Cuban Gov't?  As I understand it, the
first thing the Elian will be subjected to upon his return is 3 months of
"deprogramming," and at age 11 he will be mandatoraly enrolled in
a work school where Daddy gets to visit once a month - if he can afford to.

(source of the above is my dad... I don't know what his source is, but he
spends a _lot_ of time listening to talk radio.)
