WF> Wind-ups? Most, if not *all* cuckoo clocks are

WF> I've never heard of such a thing...
I have found a real one, made in Germany with mechanical bellows and chime
that takes one "D" battery. It was made in the 60's or 70's, and after it is
restored I am going to buy it for $100. They do exist, but it is not easy to
find them. This one looks just like a wind up from the outside. Anyways, I am
looking for another one that I could give as a gift. The big company in
Germany that makes a vast variety of cuckoos does not offer battery powered
ones now.
